BIRTHDAY PARTY GUIDELINES

Gymnastics Parties: 1 ½ hours in length

Gymnastics parties are conducted according to the age of the participants. The supervised activity portion is one hour long. There is ½ hour after the activity portion for you to celebrate in our Party Room. Dynamats provides the room, table, and chairs for your celebration; you are responsible for any decorations, presents, and refreshments. Generally, simple refreshments are suitable for the smallest children: cupcakes, ice cream cups, juice, pretzel sticks, etc., with foods like pizza, soda, and similar treats reserved for older participants.

Pre School Birthday Parties are for children aged 3 to 5 years. We ask that guests of the birthday child also be in the same age range for the Pre School party. Children under three years generally need more supervision and guidance than is possible for the staff and older children are too large for the equipment in the Pre School gym area.
The supervised activity portion of these parties is held in the second floor training gym area and is one hour in length. The second portion, the refreshment/present part, of the party is ½ hour long and is located in the Party Room area on the first floor.

Gymnastics’ Birthday Parties for children aged 6 years and above, to approximately 11 years of age, are conducted on the first floor in the main gym area. We again request that invited guests be in the same age range. Small children tend to wander off from the designated activity area and then the staff must take away from party time to supervise them. This is not fair to the birthday child.
The supervised activity portion is also one hour in length and the refreshment/present component is ½ hour long and is held in the first floor Party Room.

Both parties are carried out according to a prearranged plan that has been developed over time by approved personnel. The staff has been trained to handle these parties and activities in a specified manner and is not authorized to deviate from the prearranged plan.
